Character
background
---------------------
Varmint has a humanoid type body with the head of
a Rat. He's covered from
head to toe with gray fur. He tends to wear a brown
derby and sunglasses and
carries an umbrella. He is just under five feet tall
and has a gold earring in his
left ear.
Skills include: Speed, climbing, lock picking, heightened
sense of smell, night
vision, pick pocketing, charisma and martial arts.
Varmint was once a normal human who made a living
as a thief. But he was not
very good at his profession. One day he stumbled across a
magic lamp, which
contained a Gin, and thus he made an ill informed wish to
be the world's best
thief! Well the Gin granted him this wish, which transformed
him into a rat man.
Being part rat he is faster and more agile than a
normal human. He's able to
talk to other rodent type creatures. Varmint has a
fear of magic due to the fact
that it was magic that turned him into this man/rat
creature.
The Magistrate Hall
-------------------
In the middle of town there stands a strong and mighty Kerbanzai
tree. Within
its branches it supports a great hall. You walk up
the steps to the building in the
tree. The hall is a clean and sparkling ivory white
and blue with pillars like on
some ancient Roman building. The pillars are sculpted
figures of kneeling
Krabbits, hands above their heads, holding up the
roof. Carved into the outside
wall surrounding the entrance, is a large figure of
a ratman.
This rat would be Magistrate Varmint.
Upon entering you see a long hallway with many locked
doors. The contents of
these rooms are unknown by looking at them. You walk
to the end of the hall to
a pair of great doors. These doors, when closed, have
a picture of a blind-folded
Krabbit holding the scales of justice. You push one
of the doors open and enter
the court room.
There are 2 rows of long benches for spectators to
sit and watch the trials of the
day. Toward the front of the room the floor abruptly
ends. An enormous scale
hangs suspended from the ceiling above a swirling
purple and black abyss. In
one scale sits the prosecution and the other sits
the defense. Carved into the far
wall is the image of the Empress of KrabbitWorld with
her hands held cupped
together and out-stretched over the abyss. There Magistrate
Varmint sits and
presides over his court.
